They worked in the shipyards during World War II, and as domestic workers after the war.

A Society of Native Oregon Born (S.N.O.B.) membership certificate and membership card for Jean C. Fukuda, an informational flyer about the society, and two clippings from Old Oregon magazine about the society. The Society of Native Oregon Born was founded in 1979 by artist and humorist James Cloutier; Fukuda became a member in June 1980.
