Typescript petition from pioneers of the state of Oregon to Congress, circa 1850-1900, requesting that a monument to Lewis and Clark be erected at Fort Clatsop in honor of their encampment there in 1805-1806.
Oral history interview with Russell Peyton
Oral history interview with Russell Peyton conducted by Dan Malone from July 28 to August 12, 1987. Peyton worked as an investigator for the Civil Rights Division of the Oregon State Bureau of Labor, and later was executive director of the Metropolitan Human Relations Commission.

Russell Peyton worked as an investigator for the Civil Rights Division of the Oregon State Bureau of Labor and as an executive director of the Metropolitan Human Relations Commission. He was also involved with the Joint Council for Social Welfare for many years. Collection includes correspondence; reports; a scrapbook containing clippings, programs, and photographs regarding civil rights and human relations; and programs for the Metropolitan Human Relations Commission Awards.
Evan T. Phillips papers
Evan T. Phillips (1887-1961) was an estimator for George H. Buckler Company and vice president of Smith Phillips Company, both general contractors. Collection includes specification books, supplier directories, level book, and estimate books and sheets; catalogs and rosters; and blueprints for construction equipment. Also included are specifications for the Bonneville Dam, and specifications, sections, elevations and plans for the Vista St. Clair Apartments in Portland, Oregon.
A history of Philomath College
Two versions of a typescript thesis by C. G. Springer, written for the University of Oregon School of Education in partial fulfillment of a master of arts degree. A longer bound version of the thesis, 83 pages, is titled "A History of Philomath College" and dated July 20, 1929. Also included is an unbound condensed version titled "Philomath College, 1865-1930." Both versions have handwritten notes and corrections.

Collection consists of photographs of United States Post Office locations in Oregon, taken primarily during the 1950s and 1960s. The photographs depict buildings and branches in both urban and rural locations, as well as a small number of other industrial scenes.

Collection related to Walter M. Pierce, an educator, rancher, and politician who served as Oregon governor and in the U.S. House of Representatives. Materials include correspondence, primarily with family members and with J. A. Churchill, superintendent of public instruction, as well as minutes of the State Textbook Commission's meetings. Also included are Dictaphone belts made by Pierce's biographer, Arthur H. Bone, regarding Bone's research about Pierce and other topics.
