Scope and Contents

The collection consists of papers and albums related to the Oregon World Organization of China Painters, compiled by longtime member and porcelain art teacher Jan Byerlee. Materials include records of the organization; Porcelain Art Month proclamations signed by President Jimmy Carter and various Oregon governors; newspaper articles and clippings; a recipe book; and loose photographs. Also included are albums with photographs, papers and ephemera from 1971-2005.
