Abigail Scott Duniway papers
A small collection of papers of Abigail Scott Duniway, who was an emigrant to Oregon, an editor, and an advocate of women's suffrage. Includes records of the Oregon State Equal Suffrage Association, records of the Duniway Publishing Company, and copy of a typescript transcription of Duniway's overland diary, 1852.
Aaron M. and Gerry Frank family papers
Papers of and relating to Aaron M. Frank (1891-1968), his son Gerry Frank (1923-2022), their family, and the Portland, Oregon, department store Meier & Frank. Aaron M. Frank was president of Meier & Frank from 1937 to 1964. Gerry Frank managed a Salem, Oregon, branch of Meier & Frank from 1955 to 1965, and later served as U.S. Senator Mark Hatfield's chief of staff.

Records of a mercantile business and banking firm headed by Daniel M. French in The Dalles, Oregon. Includes correspondence (1876-1878) from Breyman & Summerville, French & Gilman, Heppner & Maddock, Ladd & Tilton, Marshall Johnson Kinney, Henry R. Sels, and others relating to cattle, the wool and hide trade, and banking. Also includes records of shipments to Camps Harney, Logan, and Watson in 1868.

James H. Henderson ledger
Ledger kept by James H. Henderson (1862-1959) relating to his work as a furniture dealer, carpenter, and funeral director in Elgin, Oregon, with a small amount of financial ephemera from his later life in Portland, Oregon. Henderson was born in Missouri, and came to La Grande, Oregon, in 1884. He lived in Elgin from the 1890s until 1919, when he moved to Portland.
Humiston, Wilson and Company records
Business papers of a wholesale liquor company in Portland, Oregon, including saloon orders (1862-1864) from mining camps and towns in eastern Oregon, Washington, and Idaho, which include news of the mines and business conditions in those areas. Also included are records and correspondence of the company's predecessor, Humiston and Ma'Dan (1859-1862).
F. X. Matthieu papers
Ledgers from a store that F. X. Matthieu (1818-1914) ran in Butteville, Oregon. The collection also includes other papers of and relating to Matthieu, who was a French-Canadian migrant to Oregon and the longest-surviving participant of the 1843 Champoeg Meetings.

Also included are commissary accounts of the Oregon Mounted Volunteers, 1855, and a record of witness fees from the U.S. Circuit Court in Multnomah County, Oregon, 1859-1866.
