Scope and Contents
Collection includes materials related to various members of the Hartman family. Papers of E. Manuel Hartman include Justice of the Peace docket, 1911-1937; notary public certificates of appointment, 1899-1903; postmaster certificates of appointment, 1885-1897; and a Wasco County schools district clerk ledger, 1903-1904. Papers of Ernest A. Hartman include a postmaster certificate of appointment, 1903, and Wapinitia general store ledgers, 1909-1915. Papers of Melissa Hartman include a postmaster certificate of appointment, 1890, and White River Power Plant ledger, 1924-1932.
