California parks photographic collection
Collection consists of four black and white photographs of scenes at parks in California, primarily of redwood forests. Places depicted are Prairie Creek State Park, the Mill Creek-Smith River project in Jedediah Smith Redwoods State Park, Bull Creek Flat in Humboldt State Park, and Del Norte Coast State Park. The photos appear to have been removed from album pages or an unidentified exhibit or display, and photocopies of captions for each image are included in the collection.
Cascades Plywood Corporation records
In 1944, the Cascades Plywood Corporation purchased Evan Products Company of Portland. In 1945, Cascades merged with the Oak Ridge Timber Company. Cascades later acquired the assets of the Lyon Lumber Company. Records include correspondence; company history with profit/loss records; biography of Max D. Tucker, president; scrapbook; agreements and minutes; and ownership summaries.

Charles Congleton papers
Charles Congleton was born in Kentucky and moved to Oregon in 1904. He worked as a forest ranger from 1907-1927 with the Paulina Ranger District. Collection includes diaries describing Congleton's work with the Forest Service; correspondence regarding fishing and the history of the Ochoco National Forest; certificates; and autobiographical materials.

Small collection consisting primarily of black and white panoramic photographs: one of Portland, Oregon, and five group portraits of employees of the Jones Lumber Company in Portland. Also included is a color aerial photograph of the Valsetz Lumber Company in Valsetz, Oregon.
Maurice Edgar Crumpacker papers
Papers of Maurice E. Crumpacker (1886-1927), primarily relating to the Loyal Legion of Loggers and Lumbermen, which Crumpacker oversaw while serving as a first lieutenant in the U.S. Army Signal Corps during World War I. Crumpacker was an attorney in Portland, Oregon, and later was a U.S. congressman.

Dog Mountain Story
Reminiscences of Dave Tozer about working at a fire lookout station on Dog Mountain, Washington, for the U.S. Forest Service in the late 1950s and early 1960s. The reminiscences include reproductions of photographs taken during that time.
