Administrative history

In 1944, the Cascades Plywood Corporation purchased Evan Products Company of Portland, which had the first mortgage bonds of Penn Timber Co. of Warren, Pennsylvania. The Oak Ridge Timber Co. formed in 1944 and acquired the assets of Penn Timber. In 1945, Cascades and Oak Ridge merged. Cascades later acquired the assets of the Lyon Lumber Co., which owned the Garyville Land Co.

In 1944, the Cascades Plywood Corporation purchased Evan Products Company of Portland. In 1945, Cascades merged with the Oak Ridge Timber Company.
