Abstract

Posters, handbills, tickets, and a bumper sticker for music concerts and events held in Portland, Oregon, from about 1967 to 1970. Materials were collected by Portland resident Jason Blumklotz. Most materials relate specifically to psychedelic rock concerts and the 1970 Portland Music and Art Fair. Groups and artists represented include the Grateful Dead, Canned Heat, Steve Miller Band, Steppenwolf, and B. B. King.

Abstract

Program and tickets for a lecture in Portland, Oregon, featuring musical composer and lyricist Stephen Sondheim (1930-2021) and a proof of a playbill for a Portland production of Sondheim's musical "Company," with cast and crew autographs. The materials were compiled by theater producer Corey Brunish, who produced and directed "Company" in Portland in 2009, and who won a Tony for his Broadway production of "Company" in 2022.

The tickets are for the 1999 Round 1 matches in Portland, and the 2003 program is autographed by members of the U.S. team.
