Larry E. Hattan emergency medical technician memorabilia
Memorabilia of Larry E. Hattan (né Horsey, 1943-2022) relating to his career as an emergency medical technician for the Buck Ambulance Service in Portland, Oregon, including certificates, letters of appreciation, and photographs. Hattan was one of the first emergency medical technicians in Oregon, and in 1972 was one of four technicians who resuscitated Portland Mayor Terry Schrunk following a heart attack.

Hawley Pulp and Paper Company records
The Hawley Pulp and Paper Company was incorporated in Oregon in 1908 and was succeeded by a company incorporated in Delaware in 1926. It was formally dissolved in 1948. Records include minute books of both the original Oregon company and the later Delaware company, as well as miscellaneous business papers.

Ernest Haycox (1899-1950) was a novelist and short story writer born in Portland, Oregon. Collection includes correspondence, 1930-1964, mostly to Arthur B. Epperson, regarding publishing, personal matters, and a proposed series of articles on Haycox and other Oregon western writers. Also included is a typescript list by Jill Marie Haycox, wife of Ernest Haycox, circa 1964, of his writing record.

Uriah S. Hayden was a politician in Jacksonville, Oregon. Collection consists of manuscript correspondence, 1878-1879, regarding Oregon and national politics and mining in Southern Oregon. Also included is Hayden's will, circa 1878.
Henry E. Hayes diary
Original and typescript of Henry E. Hayes' diary, which covers his time gold mining near Nevada City, California, his coming to Oregon in 1851, and his activities making shingles in Clackamas County. Hayes (1831-1919), who was born in Hartford, Connecticut, eventually became a steamboat pilot, and had a farm at Stafford, Oregon.
