Collection consists of correspondence and ephemera relating to the Vega Company and its Vega Standard Cornet and other musical instrument companies, 1907; correspondence and ephemera relating to the Royal Arcanum, 1894-1895; ephemera relating to the Portland Rowing Club and other rowing associations, 1896-1903; ephemera and accounts of the YMCA, 1900-1901; and miscellaneous papers of Benjamin Driscoll and Cerena Driscoll.

Abstract

Benjamin Driscoll was a musician, leader of the Driscoll Orchestra (1904-1906) and cornet player at the Heilig and Bungalow theaters, Portland (1907-1909). His wife, Cerena I. Driscoll, taught voice, drama and piano. Collection consists of correspondence and ephemera relating to the Vega Company and other musical instrument companies, the Royal Arcanum, the Portland Rowing Club and other rowing associations, and the YMCA. Also included are miscellaneous papers of the Driscolls.
