Coe I. Durland papers
Collection includes drawings, 1961-1979, including many for the Portland Fire Department; Portland Fire Department ephemera, 1912-1919; a typescript history of Woodstock, Portland, Oregon; material relating to Ontario teacher Callie Shelton; and material relating to schoolhouses in Harney and Sherman counties, Oregon.
Absolom Hallock papers
Papers of Absolom Hallock include mixed journals and account books; correspondence relating to business, personal matters, and the Portland Fire Department; and receipts. Hallock (1826-1892) was a mechanic, draftsman, civil engineer, and surveyor. He served on the Portland Common Council as chief of the Fire Department, and was the first postmaster of the Barnegat post office in Tillamook County, Oregon.
