Eleven mounted black and white photographs, five depicting construction of a railroad bridge across the Willamette River near Willbridge, and six showing the ship George W. Elder in dry dock at the Port of Portland, as well as people who worked on the ship.

Abstract

Collection of black and white photographs and photographic postcards, most contained in an album. Roughly half of the images depict unidentified firefighters, fire engines, and firehouses of the Portland Fire Department in Portland, Oregon, as well as fire department floats in the Portland Rose Parade. The remaining images consist of unidentified family snapshots, including portraits of adults and children, and images of vehicles, houses, outdoor scenes, and boats and ships.
