Scrapbook of materials relating to Thomas E. Dewey's 1948 presidential primary campaign in Oregon compiled by the Joseph R. Gerber Company. The Gerber Company was an advertising agency in Portland, Oregon, that handled advertising for Dewey's campaign. Dewey won the Oregon primary and eventually became the Republican nominee, but lost the general election.

Collection consists of a scrapbook containing genealogical information and newspaper clippings regarding the Knott family, their businesses, and other prominent Portland citizens. Andrew J. Knott (1834-1900) and Levi Knott (1832-1887) came to Oregon in 1850 and 1851. They ran the Stark Street ferry starting in 1861, and Andrew J. Knott represented Multnomah County in the state Legislature.

Contents include of the diaries and scrapbooks incude reports of Clackamas County officials, 1889-1893; delinquent tax lists, 1893; newspaper clippings; accounts, 1893-1894; and a description of a trip to Crater Lake, 1911.
