Two abstracts of title for property located in Bodley's Addition, East Portland. Property described in abstracts was owned by August F. and Emma Neunart in the 1890s, and then transferred to their daughter, Emma Neunert Lang, about 1899.
Corbett family papers

Record book of the Ladd Estate Company of Portland, Oregon, containing documents from the company's incorporation in 1908 until 1926. Records include the articles of incorporation, meeting minutes, annual reports, director's oaths, and the agreement to sell the company to Paul C. Murphy and Frederick H. Strong. The Ladd Estate Company developed the Portland neighborhoods of Ladd's Addition, Westmoreland, Eastmoreland, and Dunthorpe in the early 20th century.
Daniel H. Lownsdale papers
Papers relating to the land claim of Daniel Lownsdale (1803-1862) in Portland, Oregon, including indentures, agreements, court documents, and correspondence. Lownsdale came to Oregon in 1845, established a tannery in what would become Portland, and in 1849 purchased additional land from Francis Pettygrove, some of which would later become the South Park Blocks and the North Park Blocks.

Hughes, who was Martin's father-in-law, was a prominent real estate attorney in Portland, Oregon.
