Bryant family papers
John S. Burns scrapbooks
Scrapbooks containing typescripts of sermons given by John S. Burns at First Presbyterian Church in Corvallis, Oregon; the Federated Churches (Presbyterian-Congregational) in Corvallis; First Presbyterian Church in Lebanon, Oregon; and on radio station KOAC, Corvallis. Some scrapbooks also include research materials, clippings, and ephemera.
Robert Charlton Lee papers
Robert Charlton Lee (1852-1942) was a sea captain and Methodist minister. Papers consist of notes for sermons delivered during his years as a minister in Eastern Oregon and Idaho, and biographical sketches.
Elaine W. Sadring collection of Mount St. Helens materials
Photographs of the 1980 eruption of Mount St. Helens, four sermons by Lincoln Y. Reed about the eruption, and a 1950s report about Mount St. Helens by Beatrice Buzzetti, all of which were compiled by Elaine W. Sadring (1924-2002). Sadring was a resident of Portland, Oregon, and a member of the First Congregational Church of Portland, where Lincoln Y. Reed was pastor in 1980. Mount St. Helens erupted on May 18, 1980, killing 57 people and causing major destruction in Washington state.
Richard Morrow Steiner papers
Richard M. Steiner was pastor of the First Unitarian Church in Portland, Oregon, from 1934 to 1966. Papers include sermons on subjects including fascism, anti-Semitism, and the United Nations, as well as correspondence on church activities and civic affairs. Collection is unprocessed.
Lee Owen Stone papers
Reverend Lee Owen Stone (1903-1977) served as vicar of St. Philip the Deacon Episcopal Church in Portland, Oregon, from 1936 until his retirement in 1972. Collection includes correspondence, sermons, awards and certificates, meeting minutes from the St. Philip Men's Club, missionary reports, and files from Stone's activity in the Urban League of Portland and other civil and philanthropic associations.
