This unprocessed collection includes correspondence, diaries, financial records, family genealogy, and notes on Jackson County pioneer families. Fletcher Linn (1866-1953), who was born in Jacksonville, Oregon, was an industrialist and civic leader. He owned a furniture factory and was also president and manager of the Beaver Portland Cement Company. He was active in organizations including the Chamber of Commerce, and was a trustee of Lewis & Clark College.

Lovejoy Columns restoration and relocation records

Abstract Records, photographs, and ephemera related to efforts to conserve and relocate the Lovejoy Columns. The Lovejoy Columns were ten pillars for the Lovejoy Viaduct in Portland, Oregon, that were painted by Greek American Tom E. Stefopoulos from 1948 to 1952. When the Lovejoy viaduct was demolished in 1999, local artists, including members of the architectural collective Rigga, successfully campaigned for these pillars to be left intact.
