J. C. Harvey family papers
Julius Cone Harvey (1862-1932) was a Methodist clergyman and graduate of Cornell College in Mount Vernon, Iowa. He married Mary E. Heald in 1884 and migrated to western Washington. Collection includes memories of Mary E. Heald Harvey describing her childhood and youth in Iowa and Kansas and her early married life; letters of Clifton Harvey while at sea, 1939; blank verse and acrostic letters of Atwood Harvey, 1932-1934; and a family scrapbook.
Helm family letters
Collection primarily consists of correspondence of and relating to the Helm family, Oregon pioneers, as well as a handwritten family record of births and marriages; incomplete original and typescript copies of an Oregon Pioneer Association questionnaire relating to William Helm and his family; and a typescript photocopy of a document titled "The Crossing of the Plains in 1845 & 46," written by Richard Watson Helm.
Binger Hermann papers
Papers of an Oregon congressman and U.S. General Land Office commissioner. The collection consists of a small group of correspondence relating to Binger Hermann's historical writings; two land patent documents from 1868 and 1897; news clippings; research notes; and typescripts of some of Hermann's historical writings.
Jurgen A. Hess collection on Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area Act implementation
Reminiscences of landscape architect and planner Jurgen A. Hess (born 1941) about implementation of the Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area Act, as well as materials relating to opposition to the act, including a document by Lex Loeb. Hess worked for the U.S. Forest Service for more than 30 years, and was the service's planning director for the Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area.

Lila Cooper Boge (born 1907) was a dairy farmer's wife and lifelong Oregon resident. Collection consists of photocopy typescript reminiscences regarding Boge's childhood in Hillsboro, Madras, and Lakeview, Oregon, and her adult life, spent primarily near Tillamook, Oregon.

Reminiscences of F. Hague Callister (1914-1996), describing a camping trip to Marys Peak, Oregon, in June 1927. Callister grew up in Albany, Oregon. He later lived in Portland, Oregon, and then Wilsonville, Oregon, and was known for his advocacy for people with disabilities.
