Urban League of Portland flyer refuting housing myths
Flyer from the Urban League of Portland providing evidence against claims that Black people moving into or attending church in majority-white neighborhoods would cause property values to decrease. The Urban League of Portland is a civil rights and advocacy organization for Black residents of Portland, Oregon, that was founded in 1945.
U.S. Customs House, Astoria, Or. records
Collection includes microfilm of miscellaneous records of the U.S. Customs House at the Port of Astoria, Oregon, 1848-1868, with papers of employees and steamboats. Also included is a bound volume containing typescript copies of data and reports relating to steamboats, compiled from records of the collectors of customs in Astoria and Portland, including steamers registered with U.S. Customs, reports of supervising steamboat inspectors, and records of steamboat sales.

Van Patten discusses her management of Peacock Productions Inc., a non-profit organization in Portland that produces drag shows to raise money for the Audria M. Edwards Scholarship fund.

Collection consists of 10 black-and-white photographs of the Vanport flood in 1948, taken by an unidentified photographer. Most of the photographs are aerial views showing the floodwaters, damaged and floating buildings, and other debris. Several photographs show people standing amid the wreckage.
