Papers of Lewis A. McArthur (1883-1951) and his family, particularly papers relating to research on Oregon place names. McArthur was a historian who published Oregon Geographic Names in 1928. He published a second edition of the work in 1944, and had completed most of the work for the third edition before his death.

Riisberg was a waitress from Portland, Oregon, who, along with her older sister, decided to homestead in the high desert country east of Bend, Oregon.
Elizabeth Salway Ryan collection on Inese Ramis and A. R. Van Twiller
Collection includes notes, correspondence and drafts of biographical articles for the Oregonian newspaper on Inese Ramis, a Russian immigrant from a displaced persons camp in Germany, and A. R. Van Twiller, a deliveryman for Meier and Frank Company in Portland, Oregon.
