Sauvie Island Heritage Series project
Scope and Contents
Collection consists of research related to the history of Sauvie Island and some of its inhabitants. Materials include research notes, correspondence, and photocopies of articles and extracts from various books and publications. Research includes family genealogy and background on the ancestors and descendants of James and Julia Bybee and Benjamin and Elizabeth Howell, as well as general Sauvie Island history. The collection also includes drafts for books in the Sauvie Island Heritage Series.
