French, Augustus Saint-Gaudens, Victor Salvatore, Lorado Taft, and Robert William Vonnoh; sketches of animals, Native people, and various sculpting projects; magazine articles by Proctor; and scrapbooks.

Biographical note

Alexander Phimister Proctor (1862-1950) was the sculptor of the "Rough Rider" statue of Theodore Roosevelt in Portland, Oregon, the "Pioneer" statue in Eugene, and "The Circuit Rider" statue in Salem.
