Collection consists of typescript correspondence between John Dolan and the Library of Congress, Oregon Senator John Mitchell ,and the Ohio Historical Society, 1901-1908, regarding the price and sale of a manuscript orderly book kept by Winthrop Sargent while he was secretary of the Northwest Territory and adjutant general of the Indian Expedition of 1791 under General St. Clair.
