A significant number of the photographs depict logging scenes. Others are of places in the Columbia River Gorge; Mount Hood; Mount Rainier; the steamer Bailey Gatzert; a shipwreck on Clatsop Beach; a cottage in Seaside, Oregon; and construction of a log raft in Stella, Washington.
