David Coward photographic collection
Small collection consisting primarily of black and white panoramic photographs: one of Portland, Oregon, and five group portraits of employees of the Jones Lumber Company in Portland. Also included is a color aerial photograph of the Valsetz Lumber Company in Valsetz, Oregon.
Ralph Penniwell Cowgill papers
Ralph Penniwell Cowgill (born 1880) served as an engineer for the Oregon State Game Commission, president of the Oregon Game Protective Association, and in the Oregon Legislature. Collection includes correspondence and reports, 1922-1935, regarding his work with those organizations, as well as the Oregon Reserve Corps and National Guard, with emphasis on fish husbandry and river pollution.
Ralph Penniwell Cowgill photograph albums
Black and white photographs and cyanotypes, primarily in two albums. Scenes in one album relate to work by the U.S. Geological Survey in the Pacific Northwest from 1898-1900, particularly in Idaho; locations include Coeur d'Alene Lake, Spokane, Mount Adams, the Columbia River Gorge, and Mount Hood. The second album includes photographs of an irrigation project near Medford, Oregon.

Crane Townsite Company records
The collection contains records on individual sections within the townsite of Crane, located in Harney County, Oregon. Each record provides a colored map with details of topography, and some include notes on land features, soil quality, and uses for which the land is suitable. Collection also includes a ledger book, mostly blank, with names of purchasers.
Isom Cranfill papers
Papers include a bound manuscript notebook of Isom Cranfill, 1 volume, no date, containing sermons, family history, memoirs, including overland journey to Oregon country, 1847, early Oregon Baptist church history, copies of letters from others on religious subjects, and list of churches, with memberships, all over the country, a few in the West. Also in the collection are manuscript letters from Cranfill to his children and grandchildren, 1868-1877.
