Anna Birchman diary
Manuscript diary of Anna Birchman (nee Anna Björkman, later Anna Birchman Mills), written in Swedish, with entries dating from December 18, 1890-January 14, 1891. Birchman wrote the diary in the form of a letter home to her family during her emigration from the Dalarna province in Sweden to Portland, Oregon. Also included are a typescript English translation and an edited version of that translation in the form of a pamphlet published in 2006.

Also included is a photocopy newspaper clipping with genealogical information about descendants; a photograph of the grave of Mary Ann Bishop, wife of Z. C.
