Collection includes a ledger with accounts for the McCraken-Ripley Company; receipts and inventories; and correspondence and contracts regarding the Portland, Nehalem and Tillamook Railway Company.

J. Mitchell account books
J. Mitchell owned a general mercantile store on French Prairie in the Willamette Valley. The site later became part of the town of Gervais. The collection consists of two items: a journal of accounts for the years 1863-64, and a ledger summarizing accounts from 1860-1879, with a page showing box rentals at the Gervais Post Office for 1881.
