Abstract

Collection consists of 267 slides of Timberline Lodge for the Oregon Educational and Public Broadcasting film "Doorways to the Past: Timberline Lodge, Legacy of the '30s," produced by Elizabeth Patapoff. Scenes include construction; dedication of the lodge; and interior and exterior shots of the lodge, as well as details of artwork, metalwork, woodwork, and furniture.

Evan T. Phillips (1887-1961) was an estimator for George H. Buckler Company and vice president of Smith Phillips Company, both general contractors. Collection includes specification books, supplier directories, level book, and estimate books and sheets; catalogs and rosters; and blueprints for construction equipment. Also included are specifications for the Bonneville Dam, and specifications, sections, elevations and plans for the Vista St. Clair Apartments in Portland, Oregon.
