Bardsley and Haslacher was a public opinion research firm. This unprocessed collection of records includes reports and surveys, circa 1947-1985, conducted on behalf of businesses, political parties, candidates, and state agencies regarding advertising and public opinion on a variety of issues.

Oral history interview with Jill Eiland conducted by Judy Hartman on January 21, 1988, as part of the Portland General Electric Centennial Oral History Series. Eiland served as director of federal affairs at PGE from 1982 to 1990, and as director of public affairs from 1990 to 1994.

Oral history interview with Hillman Lueddemann, Jr., conducted by Judy Hartman and Craig Wollner on November 20, 1987, as part of the Portland General Electric Centennial Oral History Series. Lueddemann began working at Portland General Electric in 1964 as manager of commercial development, and when he retired in 1989, he held the position of vice president.

Oral history interview with Irvin Luiten conducted by James Strassmaier from March 16, 1988, to January 18, 1990, as part of the Oregon Legislature Oral History Series. Luiten was a lobbyist for the Weyerhaeuser Company from 1953 to 1978.
