Cartes-de-visite photographs
This artificial collection consists of cartes-de-visite photographs donated to the Oregon Historical Society prior to 2010. It includes portraits taken from about 1855 through the early 1900s. The collection also includes images of locomotives, ships, buildings, and landscapes in the Pacific Northwest.
Cased photographs collection
Collection consists of approximately 630 cased photographs, including daguerreotypes, ambrotypes, and tintypes (also called ferrotypes) dating from approximately 1840-1900. The photographs are primarily portraits of early migrants to Oregon and the western United States. Also represented are early Oregon street and residential scenes.
Early Oregon emigrant families photograph album
Album containing card photographs, circa 1860-1869. The images are studio portraits depicting various early emigrants to Oregon and family members. Handwritten notes identify many of the people in the album.
Robert Morrison photographic collection
Small collection of black and white photographs, largely card photographs, and tintypes, most of which are studio portraits depicting early emigrants and political figures of Oregon. The collection also includes two photographic postcards of stagecoaches and an image of the blockhouse at Fort Umpqua.

Pioneer tour photographic collection
Black and white photographs, 1913, depicting a group of early emigrants to Oregon on a tour of pioneer landmarks in the Pacific Northwest, including graveyards, residences and battle sites. Each photograph has an extensive handwritten description on the back.
Zimmerman family photographic collection
Eighteen black and white photographs of the members of the Zimmerman family, including an image of their house. People identified in the collection include: George Zimmerman, Oka Zimmerman, Forest Steward and Hazel Steward, Celia R. Dromgoole, Peter Zimmerman, Frank Zimmerman, Christian Zimmerman, Edward Zimmerman and Sophia Louisa Zimmerman.
