Scope and Contents

One album containing 48 black and white card photographs, circa 1860-1869. The images are studio portraits depicting various early emigrants to Oregon and family members. Handwritten notes identify many of the people in the album; most women are identified only by surname. Among the people depicted are Joseph Gardner Wilson and Elizabeth Millar Wilson; Watson Boise and his wife; James Willis Nesmith and Lucinda Goff Nesmith; George H. Williams and his wife; Matthew Deady and Lucy Ann Deady; Thomas McFadden Patton and his wife; Rev. Horace Lyman and his wife; J. K. Kelly; Ollie Failing; Mrs. George H. James; E. N. Cooke and his wife; Ida Pratt Babcock; C. N. Terry and Ellen Terry; Ada May Steiwer; Asahel Bush and Eugenia Bush; Frank May; Lucian Pratt and his wife; and Joe Watt.
