The capsule was buried on April 26, 1997, as the final of a year-long series of events celebrating the club's 100th anniversary.

Collection includes manuscript for C. Edwin Francis' book "Waverley Country Club, 1896-1987" and correspondence of C. E. Francis. Also included are a history of club golf courses and golf championships; information on individual golfers; and scrapbooks with yearbooks, programs, and clippings.
