Collection consists of 12 photographs, correspondence, and clippings that belonged to Portland police officer and security guard George H. Bailey. The photographs include scenes of parades in 1910 and 1911 and portraits of Bailey and his wife, Flora. Letters in the collection include descriptions of Bailey's role as police captain and alleged corruption charges.

Collection includes a handwritten German pay stub, 1812, for a person whose name may be Aloise Huemfich; a German confirmation record, 1869, for Maria Pape (also identified in collection as Mary); a marriage certificate for Charles Gritzmacher and Mary Pape, 1874, at Portland, Oregon; and newspaper clippings of obituaries of Gritzmacher family members, 1913-1958.

Oral history interview with J. Carl Lenchitsky conducted by Linda S. Dodds on July 19, 1982. Lenchitsky discusses playing basketball and other sports at Oregon State University in the 1930s, and shares the history of the Healy Heights neighborhood of Portland, Oregon.
