George Abernethy ledgers
Three ledgers kept by George Abernethy from 1859 until his death in 1877. Abernethy was a businessman and served as provisional governor of Oregon from 1845 to 1849.
Allen and Lewis records
Records of a mercantile firm in Portland, Oregon, that was founded by Cicero Hunt Lewis and Lucius H. Allen. The records date mainly from the late 19th and early 20th centuries, and include financial ledgers, business correspondence, real estate and land records, contracts, stock certificates, and materials relating to the widening of West Burnside Street in downtown Portland, due to construction of the Burnside Bridge. The collection also includes papers relating to George Good.

Papers of an Oregon missionary, educator, scientist, and publicist who played a key role in establishing Oregon's public school system. Includes letters of George H. Atkinson and his wife, Nancy Bates Atkinson, as well as speeches, journals, and ephemera.

Materials relating to James M. Brown (1844-1922), who emigrated to Silverton, Oregon, as a child in 1846, and to other members of Brown's family, particularly his son Percy L. Brown (1876-1934). Papers include correspondence, financial records, and ephemera, and much of the material deals with Percy L. Brown's educational, business, and social activities.

Lewis R. Cheadle family and J. R. Cheadle ledgers
Ledgers kept by Lewis R. Cheadle (1864-1935), his brother in-law, Frederick Krieg (1867-1930), and J. R. Cheadle. Lewis R. Cheadle was a farmer who lived in Lebanon, Oregon, in Portland, Oregon, and in Roseburg, Oregon. In the early 1890s, he and his brother, George W. Cheadle, operated a grocery store in the Albina neighborhood of Portland. J. R. Cheadle's exact relationship to Lewis R. Cheadle is unknown.
Corbett family papers
Correspondence, property and financial records, photographs, and ephemera of the Corbett family of Portland, Oregon, primarily the family of Henry L. Corbett (1881-1957) and Henry L. Corbett's brother Hamilton F. Corbett (1888-1966). Members of the family represented in this collection are descendants of Henry Winslow Corbett (1827-1903), an early emigrant to Oregon.
