The collection consists of two ledgers of a saloon operated by Frank Brown in Jacksonville, Oregon. The ledgers list the names of saloon patrons, their purchases, and their tabs. The first volume is organized by patron name, while the second volume's entries are in chronological order. The second volume contains headings for both Fowler and Frank Co.'s accounts and for Frank Brown's individual accounts. Expense items listed include drinks, cigars, and games of billiards.
