Collection consists of correspondence, minutes and financial reports, 1976-1977; newsletter, 1 volume, 1976, with events and biographies of participating musicians. Sergiu Luca, an acclaimed Israeli violinist, founded Chamber Music Northwest in 1971 after coming to Portland for a music recital.

Photographs, clippings, posters, and ephemera documenting Woody Hite and his big band, who were active in northwestern Oregon from the 1930s and 1940s; the band was revived in the early 1970s by Hite's brother Don Hite. Photographs include images of Duke Ellington and his band in Portland, Oregon, in 1941.

Color photocopies of materials documenting the work and career of Oregon musician and artist Mason Williams, compiled in preparation for an exhibit at the Oregon Historical Society.
