Scope and Contents
Photographs, clippings, posters, and ephemera documenting Woody Hite and his big band. Also includes a phonograph record of the "Top o Scott Band," 1945; three issues of the newsletter "Uptown echoes" for 1941; and photographs of a model quonset hut house, circa 1945. Among the photographs are images of Duke Ellington and his band on their visit to Portland, Oregon, in 1941.

Biographical note
