Ralph Penniwell Cowgill (born 1880) served as an engineer for the Oregon State Game Commission, president of the Oregon Game Protective Association, and in the Oregon Legislature. Collection includes correspondence and reports, 1922-1935, regarding his work with those organizations, as well as the Oregon Reserve Corps and National Guard, with emphasis on fish husbandry and river pollution.

Oral history interview with Michele DeHart, conducted by Clark Hansen on December 11, 1998, as part of the Columbia River Dissenters Oral History Series. DeHart discusses her work as a fish biologist and as manager of the Fish Passage Center in Portland, Oregon, and talks about fish conservation measures in the Columbia River Basin.

Evans served as the first chair of the Northwest Power Planning Council, now known as the Northwest Power and Conservation Council, from 1981 to 1983.

William L. Finley (1876-1953) was a naturalist and photographer. He was instrumental in the conservation movement and establishment of the Tule Lake-Lower Klamath and Malheur Bird Refuges. Collection consists of a scrapbook and letters regarding personal matters, the Izaak Walton League, and conservation.

Oral history interview with Pat Ford, conducted by Clark Hansen on May 7, 1998, as part of the Columbia River Dissenters Oral History Series. Ford discusses his work with the Idaho Conservation League from 1977 to 1984, and with the Save Our Wild Salmon Coalition from 1991 to the time of the interview.
