Letters from C. C. Augur and William C. McKay to Thomas M. Anderson (1836-1917), discussing topics relating to the history of the Pacific Northwest. Anderson was a U.S. Army officer who commanded the 14th Infantry at Fort Vancouver, Washington, in the 1880s and 1890s and who fought in the U.S. Civil War and the Spanish-American War.

Alexander Ross diary of the Snake Country expedition
Typescript photocopy of journal entries made by Alexander Ross from March 11, 1824, to April 22, 1824, during an expedition in the Pacific Northwest. Ross (1783-1856) was born in Scotland and became known as a pioneer and fur trader in Canada and the Pacific Northwest. He worked for the North West Company and Hudson's Bay Company.
Theresa Truchot papers
Collection includes research notes regarding Oregon and Northwest history. Theresa Truchot was a local historian of early Lake Oswego. She was the author of many publications and conducted oral histories of early Lake Oswego residents. She initiated the Junior Historical Society and was a speaker on local history topics.
