Collection consists primarily of photographic materials documenting the operations of the Columbia Steel Casting Company, a metal casting company that operated out of Portland, Oregon, from 1904-2022. The collection also includes company newsletters and other papers, including articles and correspondence.

Communications Consultants, Inc. was founded in 1965 by Duane Nielsen to offer "a complete scope of consulting and audio-visual production services." Records include correspondence; proposals for an architectural preservation documentary about Portland; and materials relating to projects on the Sea Lion Caves and Boston.

Collection consists of 100 black and white photographs, documents, and pages of clippings from two disassembled albums. Materials relate to news and events from the Oregon chapter of the CIO during November 1948, and to state and national CIO conventions in the mid- to late 1940s.

Collection consists of 16 black and white photographs and one tintype; subjects include Kenneth L. Cooper, office scenes and co-workers, probably at the U.S. Veterans Bureau, and Cooper family members. Kenneth L. Cooper (1884-1972) was born in The Dalles, Oregon. He served with the 364th Infantry during World War I, and was elected to the Portland City Commission in 1940.

Black and white photographs and cyanotypes, primarily in two albums. Scenes in one album relate to work by the U.S. Geological Survey in the Pacific Northwest from 1898-1900, particularly in Idaho; locations include Coeur d'Alene Lake, Spokane, Mount Adams, the Columbia River Gorge, and Mount Hood. The second album includes photographs of an irrigation project near Medford, Oregon.

Papers of Ilia Alice Cowie-Freitas (née Young), a nurse from Vancouver, Washington, and her family. Cowie-Freitas attended nursing school at Emanuel Hospital in Portland, Oregon, and worked in Vancouver and then in Arizona. Papers include pages from a scrapbook that Cowie-Freitas kept while attending nursing school, photographs, correspondence, and a family history.

Photographic prints and nitrate negatives depicting Caroline Augusta Kamm, the Kamm children, and the Kamm house in Portland, Oregon; Elijah "Lige" Coalman; children and staff at the Fruit and Flower mission; and the grounds of the E. B. MacNaughton estate.

Album containing snapshots and studio portraits of members of the Crocker family, and of friends and associates; some images feature outdoor activities. Most images have handwritten notes identifying some or all of the people depicted. Among those identified are Hazel Crocker, Barbara Crocker, Helen Goss, Etta Honeyman, Maud Morey, Genevieve Thompson Smith, and Kate Woolsey.

Papers of Chuck Currie (1969-), an advocate for unhoused people and for low-income housing in Portland, Oregon. Most of the papers relate to his activism, including records of the organizations Burnside Advocates Group, Oregon Housing NOW Coalition, Outside In, and the Multnomah Community Action Commission. Other papers relate to political activities such as voter registration drives and Currie's work as a minister.
