Approximately the first half of the album depicts sites and scenes in Oregon in 1948-1949, particularly Portland. The remainder of the album depicts landscapes, buildings, tourist and historic sites, and ships in numerous other states, as well as photographs of powerhouses, engines, generators and other equipment, probably related to Mallett's job.
