Phil Metschan family papers
Papers of the family of Phil Metschan, Oregon state treasurer and owner of the Imperial Hotel in Portland. Materials include diaries, notebooks, correspondence, ephemera, certificates, 1930 election materials, and a scrapbook. Family members represented include Phil Metschan, Phil Metschan, Jr., Marie C. Metschan, Anna Metschan Cattanach, and Lillian and Jesse Evans Flanders.
Carl Moser scrapbooks
Carl Moser (1897-1961) was a charter member of the American Legion in 1919 and served as commander of the Silverton Legion post, Oregon Department Adjutant, 1924-1942, Oregon Department Commander, 1955, and on various Legion commissions at the national level. Collection includes scrapbooks with photographs, clippings, etc., regarding Moser's activities with the American Legion, including conventions, speeches, and Memorial Day observations.
