Carl Moser (1897-1961) was a charter member of the American Legion in 1919 and served as commander of the Silverton Legion post, Oregon Department Adjutant, 1924-1942, Oregon Department Commander, 1955, and on various Legion commissions at the national level. Collection includes scrapbooks with photographs, clippings, etc., regarding Moser's activities with the American Legion, including conventions, speeches, and Memorial Day observations.

Abstract

Two scrapbooks of the Women's Auxiliary No. 233 of Multnomah Typographical Union No. 58 of Portland, Oregon. The scrapbooks include clippings, newsletters, correspondence, photographs, and ephemera. The collection also includes a loose copy of the proceedings of the 1961 Woman's International Auxiliary to the International Typographical Union convention. Women's Auxiliary No. 233 was formally organized in 1949.
