Oregon Council of Teachers of English records
Records of the Oregon Council of Teachers of English (OCTE), including records relating to the Oregon Literature Series project and issues of the council's semi-annual publication, Oregon English Journal. The council, founded in 1913, is an organization of English and literature educators. It has published Oregon English Journal since 1979, and it led the Oregon Literature Series, a project to produce a six-volume anthology of Oregon literature published by Oregon State University Press.
Oregon Institute of Technology records
Oregon Institute of Technology was a junior college operated under the auspices of the Portland YMCA. Collection consists of minute books with minutes, curriculum, finances, and related matters.
Pacific Northwest Labor College records
The Pacific Northwest Labor College was originally sponsored by the Portland Labor Temple and offered night courses and continuing education for labor union members until its closure in 1984. Records include correspondence, reports, minutes, lists of officers, by-laws, surveys, proposals, news releases, bibliographies, memoranda, curriculum materials, and financial grant materials.
A history of Philomath College
Two versions of a typescript thesis by C. G. Springer, written for the University of Oregon School of Education in partial fulfillment of a master of arts degree. A longer bound version of the thesis, 83 pages, is titled "A History of Philomath College" and dated July 20, 1929. Also included is an unbound condensed version titled "Philomath College, 1865-1930." Both versions have handwritten notes and corrections.
Oral history interview with Laurence Pratt

John G. Schroeder papers
John G. Schroeder (1886-) was a student at the Oregon Agricultural College (later Oregon State University) and editor of the college yearbook, Barometer. He later became a Portland lawyer. Collection consists of correspondence, 1905-1916, regarding his activities at the college and editing of the "Barometer"; debate notes, 1908, regarding labor unions; and miscellaneous ephemera.
