The bulk of the collection consists of an original manuscript and a typescript copy of a narrative by Tyler Woodward, titled "Forty-Five Years on the Pacific Coast," circa 1905. The collection also includes an original typescript and a typescript copy of an 1895 autobiographical sketch.
