Yosemite
Typescript and photograph album titled "Yosemite," created by Dorsey B. Smith and dated Portland, May 10, 1901. Contains a detailed account of the author's trip from Portland, Oregon, to the Yosemite Valley and the Sequoia areas in California. Smith (born 1872) moved to Oregon as the secretary to the president of the Oregon Railway and Navigation Company. He later owned a travel company and was the proprietor of the Cloud Cap Inn near Mount Hood.
