Black and white photographs from approximately 1946-1960, depicting the Vanport Extension Center before and after the 1948 Columbia River flood; scenes of buildings, students, and activities at Portland State College in Portland, Oregon; and scenes at Timberline Lodge on Mount Hood.

Collection consists of 40 black and white photographs depicting scenes in Oregon and Washington, including Seaside; Timberline Lodge and Mt. Hood; Spirit Lake; the Vanport Flood in 1948; and the 1948 Rose Festival parade in Portland.

Collection consists of 267 slides of Timberline Lodge for the Oregon Educational and Public Broadcasting film "Doorways to the Past: Timberline Lodge, Legacy of the '30s," produced by Elizabeth Patapoff. Scenes include construction; dedication of the lodge; and interior and exterior shots of the lodge, as well as details of artwork, metalwork, woodwork, and furniture.
