Milton Smith Wirt papers
Papers of a lawyer and civic leader of Portland, Oregon. Includes extensive correspondence relating to land claims, real estate controversies, and tax delinquencies, as well as correspondence and financial documents relating to the Library Association of Portland, the Multnomah Law Library, the Portland Free Kindergarten Association, the Oregon Historical Society, and other organizations and business concerns. Also includes ephemera and personal financial documents.
Charles A. Sprague papers
Charles Arthur Sprague (1887-1969) was a newspaper editor and publisher, and served as governor of Oregon from 1939 to 1943. Collection includes correspondence, 1896-1968; documents relating to committees and commissions, 1949-1969, including Colleges for Oregon's Future, the Oregon Geographic Names Board, the Commission on the Rights, Liberties and Responsibilities of the American Indian, and the Oregon State Constitutional Revision Commission; and a last will and testament.

Straub family papers
Papers of the Straub family, who lived in Portland, Baker, and Hood River, Oregon. Collection includes an account book, also used as a scrapbook, with obituaries and genealogical information; stock certificates; communion and naturalization certificates; and bills. Much of this collection is in German, with some translations.
Swedish Aid Society records
The Swedish Aid Society was an organization established in 1893 to provide financial assistance to Swedish immigrant members during illnesses and to help defray expenses of members' funerals. It was legally dissolved in 1962. Collection includes constitution; correspondence; member lists; treasurer reports; certificate of dissolution; minute book with most entries in Swedish; and account books.
