Alvin T. Smith papers
Papers of Alvin T. Smith (1802-1888), including his diaries, and records and correspondence relating to his tenure as postmaster at Tualatin, Oregon Territory (later Forest Grove, Oregon). Smith emigrated to the Oregon Territory in 1840 as a lay missionary, and moved to what would become Forest Grove in 1841. He served as postmaster in the 1850s, and was one of the founders of Tualatin Academy (later Pacific University).

Kambouris (1898-1964) was a Greek immigrant who lived in Oregon and various western states.
Henry C. C. Stevens diary
Manuscript diary of Private H. C. C. Stevens, Battery E, 65th Coast Artillery Corps., February 22, 1918-January 30, 1919, regarding his experiences as an American soldier in France during World War I. Stevens (1898-1979) was a native of Portland, Oregon. He became a partner in the insurance company Stevens & Brewster, served as the president of the Oregon Association of Insurance Agents, and was a member of many civic organizations.

Entries document his activities, trips to nearby communities, purchases, prices, and weather details, as well as information about the lives of his neighbors, and provide insight into the interdependence of early emigrants to Oregon.
