Alene Phillips scrapbooks
Alene Phillips served as the personal secretary for three Oregon governors and for Douglas McKay during his term as Secretary of the Interior. She was also a news correspondent for Salem's Capital Journal. Scrapbooks in this collection regard her personal and professional life in Oregon and Washington, D.C., including copies of her news columns and memorabilia from European and Hawaiian trips.
Evan T. Phillips papers
Evan T. Phillips (1887-1961) was an estimator for George H. Buckler Company and vice president of Smith Phillips Company, both general contractors. Collection includes specification books, supplier directories, level book, and estimate books and sheets; catalogs and rosters; and blueprints for construction equipment. Also included are specifications for the Bonneville Dam, and specifications, sections, elevations and plans for the Vista St. Clair Apartments in Portland, Oregon.

A history of Philomath College
Two versions of a typescript thesis by C. G. Springer, written for the University of Oregon School of Education in partial fulfillment of a master of arts degree. A longer bound version of the thesis, 83 pages, is titled "A History of Philomath College" and dated July 20, 1929. Also included is an unbound condensed version titled "Philomath College, 1865-1930." Both versions have handwritten notes and corrections.
