Collection consists of photographs from the Oregon School for the Deaf, a boarding school for deaf children founded in 1870. The photographs date from 1870-1989. They depict the physical space, people, and activities of the school.
Oregon School of Arts and Crafts records
Records of the Oregon School of Arts and Crafts, including administrative records, student work, and memorabilia. The school was originally founded as the Arts and Crafts Society of Portland in 1907, but changed its name in 1979, when it moved to a seven-acre campus on SW Barnes Road in Portland, Oregon. In 1996, the school changed its name again to Oregon College of Art and Craft. The school permanently closed in 2019.

Most files were created by Fred B. Messing, who served as executive secretary from 1929 to 1941. Includes correspondence, subject files, minutes of meetings, financial records, and educational literature.
